Last updated: 5 October 2026
This policy explains how [to be added] ("we") collects and uses personal data on OneDigitalite, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone (optional), password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
- Purchases: courses bought, amounts, coupon used, invoice details. Card/UPI details are handled by our payment partners, not stored by us.
- Learning activity: lessons watched, progress, quiz results, certificates, reviews and messages.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser, sign-in times and cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
2. Why we use it
- To create your account, give you access to courses and track your progress (contract).
- To process payments, issue invoices and meet tax and legal obligations (legal obligation).
- To secure the platform: login protection, device limits, video watermarks against piracy (legitimate use).
- To send course updates and, only with your consent, offers and newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We never sell personal data. We share only what is needed with: payment gateways; email/SMS/WhatsApp providers; video hosting providers; cloud hosting; the instructor of a course you join (name and progress); and authorities when the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
We keep account and learning data while your account is active. Invoices and payment records are kept for the period tax law requires (generally 8 years). When you delete your account we erase or anonymise the rest within 90 days.
5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, update or erase your data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to [to be added]">[to be added]; we respond within 30 days.
6. Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
7. Children
The platform is meant for users aged 18+. Users under 18 may use it only with verifiable consent of a parent or guardian.
